The Education of CBD

Wings of Light Wellness Center is happy to announce CBD infused Salt Room and Sauna.  (Coming Soon CBD infused Massages)

What is CBD?  According to Harvard Medical School Website:

CBD stands for cannabidiol.  It is derived directly from the hemp plant, which is a cousin of the marijuana plant. While CBD is a component of marijuana (one of hundreds), by itself it does not cause a “high.” According to a report from the World Health Organization, “In humans, CBD exhibits no effects indicative of any abuse or dependence potential…. To date, there is no evidence of public health related problems associated with the use of pure CBD.”

At Wings of Light Wellness Center we believe in educating about CBD.  Each month, usually on a Thursday evening we have an RN come in and teach you all about CBD and you even get the medical side.  During this class you get to sample CBD,  have a relaxing Salt Room Session, followed by a 30 minute class.  So you may be asking yourself why would I need this class, well for example did you know most over the counter CBD's have 80% filler oils.  Which means it's so diluted you may not be getting any benefit from it.  Also did you know that we all have an Endocannabinoid System in our bodies?  Many people have endocannabinoid deficiency and not even know it.   There are a lot of misconceptions, lots of very bad quality and even some tainted CBD oils on the market.  You definitely need to know what you are buying before you make your purchase.  Our class gives you educational tools and research to work with your Doctor to see if CBD is right for you.   To book you spot please call our office 407-750-3505, spaces are limited and fill very fast.  The class is $10 and about 90 minutes longs.  That is a savings of $14 off our Salt Room and CBD sessions.  Here, not only are you getting educated, but you get to ask the questions from a Medical Professional that has been in the industry for a long time and seen the effects of illegal and rx drug overdoses in the hospital.

If you would like to do a little research on your own, our RN recommends
